Towering over hidden bays are rocky cliffs, winding roads and sky-scraping mountains. Let this paint a picture of El Zonte Surf Camps and their incredible surfing scene. This town goes even further under the radar than El Tunco, with many bays being inaccessible. Though rest assured that the surf spots which remain easy to access, are world-class and perfect for beginners!
El Zonte Surf Camps do not require lavish bars and restaurants to sell the area to visitors. The natural environment does that alone! That being said, the area remains close to bigger towns, and is even under an hours drive from the capital – San Salvador. El Salvador citizens become tourists in their own country, flocking to El Zonte and other coastal towns in search of the undeniably great surfing scene!
