Billabong Wetsuit Size Chart

Billabong is a global surf behemoth, with wetsuits forming an integral part of their apparel line.

Billabong has a fine surf heritage being founded in Australia in 1973 by Gordon and Rena Merchant. They started by designing and creating board shorts at their home and selling them to local surf shops.

Surfers soon became aware of the quality and overall durability of Billabong shorts thanks to their triple-stitching. Merchants understood that for Billabong to grow into a reputable surf brand they needed to advertise and get their name out into the wider surf community.

Their approach was to sponsor contests, which increased the public’s awareness of Billabong’s products. As a result of this increased brand awareness, the company expanded. By the 1980s, Billabong board shorts were ubiquitous within the Australian surf community.

These days both Billabong board shorts and wetsuits are held in high esteem across the globe, and Billabong counts surfers such as Griffin Colapinto, Italo Ferreira and the late Andy Irons as some of their sponsored riders.
